At Beecroft Academy, our Early Years team is committed to giving every child the strongest possible start to their school journey. We create an inclusive, safe and dynamic environment where learning is joyful, engaging and carefully tailored to build on each child’s unique strengths, needs and interests. We empower our children to be happy, ambitious and confident learners who feel supported to excel in whatever path they choose.

Our broad Early Years curriculum thoughtfully balances high-quality, adult-guided teaching with rich, child-initiated play. Through carefully designed indoor and outdoor spaces, children naturally develop essential communication, social-emotional and critical-thinking skills. We place strong value on hands-on, outdoor education, providing real-world experiences that spark curiosity, promote independence and deepen children’s understanding of the world around them.

We recognise that strong partnerships with parents and carers are fundamental to a child’s progress and well-being. By fostering open, collaborative communication, we capture a complete picture of each child’s development, working together to celebrate every milestone and lay the foundations for a lifetime of confident learning.

Doing this workshop helped me to understand and learn the way they are learning maths in school.
