In Year 3, we offer the children their first opportunity of a residential activity within school. To make sure the children feel comfortable, this takes place as a one night overnight camp on our own school field. It normally takes place in early July so we benefit from the warmer camping weather. The children use their independent skills and enjoy a range of activities:

• Putting up their own tents which they will sleep in
• Learning new survival skills
• Learning how to safely make a campfire
• Toasting marshmallows
• Plus other activities (maybe even a bushtucker trial)

The camp is staffed by school staff and supported by Adventures Into who provide all the tents and activities.
